Hello!

Let us introduce ourselves! We're a husband and wife team... Jordan and Aleya Veach. We started this business back in 2021 and did a lot of behind-the-scenes work up until officially launching our business website in 2023. We use the process of sublimation to create high-quality, custom products for you to enjoy. Right now we're focusing on a few products but you can sublimate on all kinds of things and the possibilities are endless! We plan to introduce new products as time goes on.

A little bit about us...

We're both born and raised right here in Kitsap County, WA! We're high school sweethearts and have been married since 2011. We have 4 young children that keep us very busy! Jordan is a sheetmetal mechanic at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Aleya is a tax accountant and financial advisor at a local CPA firm. When it comes to Ink + Era, Jordan is the one that creates the products, handles delivery/shipping, and manages all the supplies. Aleya is the one behind the scenes editing photos, managing the website and social media accounts, bookkeeping, etc.

So what brought us to this point? Jordan has spent most of his career as a sheetmetal mechanic in the label plates department at PSNS. When he first arrived, he noticed the process that was being used to create label plates was outdated, costly, and inefficient. He began researching to see if there was a better way to meet the US Navy's label plate needs and that's when he stumbled upon the process of sublimation. He found that sublimation was faster, more efficient, cost-effective, and better in every way than the process that was being used. Sublimation would also greatly reduce hazardous waste. Long story short, he got the process of sublimation implemented at PSNS and it has been a huge success! He was nominated for 2018 Employee of the Year at PSNS and had a front-page article written about his accomplishments in our local newspaper, The Kitsap Sun. You can read that article here.

Through his journey of getting the new process implemented at PSNS, Jordan found himself growing passionate about all the cool things he could make with sublimation. Which led to dreaming about starting our own little side gig. Jordan knows the ins and out of the process from doing it every day at work and he already knew all the equipment and supplies that would be required to run a sublimation business so we figured why not give it a try on our own. And here we are!

We look forward to creating products that will put a smile on our customer's faces and the relationships we will build through this business. Feel free to reach out on our Contact page if you have any questions :)
